Back to surgery!

A couple of years ago I ruptured the flexor tendon to my left thumb tip and was left with a flexible but basically straight joint. I have been waiting to have further surgery to fix the joint in a slightly flexed  position (more functional for picking things up). This happened on the 9th january; this being my preferred time as there is a dearth of fairs etc just after Christmas. However part of this fusion/fixing process involves it being pinned and as a result no driving/lifting for six weeks. I intend to spend time with my tax return and also improving my website.

Apologies to anyone expecting to see me for the first february farmers market.

Update

Well, I am back to normal now, almost. As a result of my fall I can no longer move the tip of my left thumb and my nerves are a bit strange. The lack of movement makes it difficult to press some of my camera controls! one adapts.

As for exhibiting things are back to normal, almost! My van died on the way to a craft market in Malvern, necessitating the urgent MOT of my car to get it on the road. As you can imagine I  am on the look out for another van.
